A few pictures taken on a long weekend in Tuscany. With the exception of the first day, which was very wet, it was warm and sunny. Quite a contrast to the UK, where Storm Doris was wreaking havoc the day we set off!
It was a cold and windy day as we walked along the beach between Milford on Sea and Hurst Castle. It was so cold that ice had formed at the waters edge. It was bracing to say the least. As for the castle it must be one of the most ugly I have ever seen!
On the streets of Southampton today. From the Medieval walls to the Duke of Wellington, from brutalist 1960’s architecture to the newly opened Westquay Watermark complex, all to be found on a ten minute walk through the city.
